Created in 2016, the school was born from Manu Portet’s desire to share his passion for surfing and to offer quality teaching: a limited number of students per class, a safe environment, plenty of advice. adapted to the level of each student and a maximum of time in the water.
Expérience Surf School is ideally located on the sea front, on the Pavillon Royal beach in Bidart, between Biarritz and Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Choose from lessons or training courses according to your desires, in a unique setting between cliffs and the ocean, for a total change of scenery.
Our school also offers surfboard, bodyboard and wetsuit rental. We welcome you every day from June to September on the beach of Pavillon Royal in Bidart (reservation).
A former member of the French national team, Manu Portet is one of the leading
figures in European surfing.
Matthieu, a local surfer from Bidart since his youth, Swiss Army knife of the school, he is also at ease on a bodyboard, foil or surfing in big waves.
Passionate about the ocean, if he’s not surfing, he’ll be at the shack to welcome you, he’s the school’s handyman.
